At Pennine Vets we are excited to announce we have achieved silver Rabbit Friendly Status (RWAF).
This means that our staff understand that rabbits have specific needs, so we approach, handle and care for them appropriately.
We have taken extra steps (and hops) to ensure Pennine Vets is well suited to your rabbit. As a silver awarded practice we have:
- A rabbit friendly waiting room.
- The ability to hospitalise rabbits in a low-stress environment
- Staff that are knowledgeable and take extra care when looking after rabbits
- A Rabbit Advocate to co-ordinate rabbit policies and help tailor our practice to better suit our fluffy friends
Also our vets are on the “Rabbit Friendly Vet List”. This means they have extra knowledge for when it comes to caring for rabbits and have passed an assessment by the RWAF to ensure they are the best people to be caring for your rabbits.
Having vets on the “Rabbit Friendly Vet List” means that they have access to specialist advice and regular updates on the latest developments in rabbit care, ensuring that your rabbit is in good hands.
